Partners in Education
The Scott A. Strong Memorial Scholarship Fund will be awarding a $2,000 scholarship to a 2012 graduating Lake County Public School student and $500 and $1000 scholarships for runners up. You must have a 2.5 GPA and have a track record of being involved in your community. The scholarship can be used for books, fees or tuition at universities, community colleges or technical schools. Deadline is March 5, 2012.

EFLC is committed to raising funds for the Scott
A. Strong Memorial Scholarship Fund.
EFLC and its partner Reunion Bank have
waived all fees for the life of the fund, designating 100% to scholarships.
The Alliance Foundation provides up to a $5000 match for any scholarship awarded to a student pursuing an education in the healthcare field.

Recent Award Winners
On April 25, 2011, the recipients of the 2011 scholarships were awarded at the Lake County School Board Meeting. Steven Strong, Lisa Jorday and Stephanie Joiner were just a few of the board members there to happily pass along the honors.
